Gauntlgrym

Gauntlgrym is a city of the Forgotten Realms, one of the worlds used in Dungeons and Dragons. In fact there are only allusions to it in the main books.
When I was a dungeon master, I made a full campaign centered around this hidden city.

The landscape was generated with Geocontrol 2 beta.

This it the very first of my images to be selected in the "Picture of the Day" section of the e-On Software website.

Items used

The building in this picture is the dwarven village guardhouse from a set available on Meshbox.com. I got rid of the mountain the fortress is set into to get these towers.
