Eilan Donnan castle

The famous castle of Eilan Donnan in the scottish highlands.

I actually went to this place with a friend that took the classic photo of Eilan Donnan castle with a background of scottish hills.
I then used to photograph as a source of inspiration for this image made in Bryce. 

 
 

The castle was - painfully - modelled with Rhino, not the most adapted tool for this kind of object. I had to separated it in several different meshes in order not to break the 65K polygon limit of .3ds exports from Rhino. If I were to redo it, I would certainly not use a NURBS modeller!
