Available info about Vue 7
E-on Software demoed a beta version of Vue 7 at Siggraph 2008. Though they only provided scarce info up to now, people that have visited their booth detailed more features. Here is a summary of what I could find from the different sources of information.
Vue 7 video
A video presenting Vue 7 has been spotted on Youtube. It is now confirmed to be genuine.
Bryce vs Vue
I have used Bryce for a long time before switching - somewhat reluctantly - to Vue. My first tests in Vue were no more than a cautious exploration, but I quickly realized that it had lots of features I had been wanting in Bryce for years. This article is an attempt to summarize my findings in this respect.
Full uninstall of Vue 7
When making tries with the newer Vue 7.4 beta, I messed up with the "revert to previous version" function and ended up with a totally broken program. It was time for a full reinstall, following the advice of Chipp Walters.
Vue 7.5 sample images
E-On Software announced the release of Vue 7.5 in their newsletter on the 29th of April. I just stumbled upon the gallery of a beta tester showing nice sample of images done with it.
The Third and the Seventh
This is the video everyone is talking about: architecture views with lots of depth of field effects and a very nice music.
Alex M
Seeing his gallery, Alex M's digital landscape skill seem to progress steadily. His work is rather varied, with large landscapes and realistic close ups and he has a very nice sense of composition.
Arthur Rosa
I had already seen the name or Arthur Rosa as many of his images are E-On pictures of the day, but never paid a visit to his gallery. It is now done.
