Leaving Ravenshold

Behind the scenes

This scene uses IBL (Image Based Lighting). I used a photo of overcast skies taken during my holidays and turned it into an HDR image by extracting different exposures from the same RAW file. I used the sky as a background.

The cross was an object designed for a previous scene and is made with a symmetrical lattice.

This scene also makes use of Digarts nozzles for the grass in the foreground. I first made tests with an early version of the Jungle Bundle, but the nozzles were too low res and blurry. The new ones from the Grains and grasses collection are far larger and look better.
