Alien guts

Dark, swirly and wet, this is alien guts right in your plate.
- "I really love this delectable brown thing. How is it called?"
- "This is space haggis my dear!"
- "And what is it made of?"
- "It is a part of the guts of a large creature called "Alzabo", wich is left to rotten 2 months in a wooden cask, then cooked with special hallucinatory herbs that make you believe it's good."

Behind the scenes

I found this textures by fiddling with the Bryce deep texture editor and truly loved its complex, swirly and wet aspect. The sad thing about it is that I lost the source scene in a hard disk crash and will probably never find this exact combination again given the number of possibilities of the editor.

That brings back memories of Ophelia on Halo 3. The spectral is excellent. I love your gallery. Great work!
